Katonah Bedford Hills Ambulance Corps 'Wish List For Ukraine'
The volunteer ambulance corps has sponsored a fundraiser for the AFYA foundation to directly benefit those suffering in the war-torn region.
KATONAH, NY — An organization known for being there whenever the local community faces emergency, is also doing its part to help those in crisis a world away.
The Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps (KBHVAC) has partnered with the AFYA Foundation to curate an Amazon wishlist of items that people in Ukraine desperately need. AFYA delivers vital medical supplies and healthcare equipment to clinics and medical facilities in need around the world.
Items on the wishlist include:

- sterile suture threads with needles
- surgical needle holders
- elastic bandages
- antibiotic creams
- hemostatic agents (to stop bleeding)
- first aid tape
- first aid bags
- bandages
- sterile wound dressing pads
- medical scissors
They ask that Hudson Valley residents consider purchasing from the wishlist through this link so that items will be sent directly to AFYA and then on to Ukraine.
