Katonah-Lewisboro-Bedford Girls Softball Signups Underway

From the Katonah Chamber of Commerce:

STEP RIGHT UP AND TAKE A SWING AT GIRLS SOFTBALL THIS FALL! Katonah Lewisboro Bedford Softball is happy to announce another season of Fall softball for girls grades K-9. This is an awesome opportunity for the girls to learn in a relaxed environment that focuses on growth and development in the premier softball league for girls in our area.

League Details:
***Season runs from September 6th - November 1st***
• $125.00 per child ($25 discounts per child will be given for families enrolling 2 or more children)
• League will provide Fall Ball shirts
• Scrimmage Games will be each weekend at Rasor Field in Katonah and at the girls softball field at JJHS
• Every team will be given a field to host one practice a week in the afternoon/evenings (pending availability)
• Emphasis will be on teaching not only during the practice sessions but during the games as well
• These are strictly scrimmage style games so score will not be kept
• Coaches will pitch at the K-2 level
• Players will pitch the entire game in two inning intervals beginning at the 3-4 level (coach assist as needed)
• Umpires will be present for all games
• Clinics will be available to all teams (details to be determined)
