Katonah Man Sentenced for Role in Insider Trading Scheme
Police said he searched through his firm's computer records for information on pending transactions.

KATONAH, NY — A Katonah man was sentenced Wednesday for his role in a $5.6 million insider trading scheme.
Steven Metro, 42, the former Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP law firm managing clerk, who searched for info on pending transactions and passed it along, received 46 months in federal prison, according to NJ.com.
Metro sent the information through a friend to broker Vladimir Eydelman of Colts Neck, NJ.
