Towards the close of summer, the Katonah Village Improvement Society (KVIS) will be supporting a jazz performance early next month.
The announced event, which is called "Drinks, Desserts, and Django Jazz," will be held on Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Katonah Village Library.
The event, which comes with a $10 donation, will feature a performance by Bandjango. Folks who donate will also get admission to KVIS' first theater performance, which will be William Luce's "The Last Flapper" and will be held on Sept. 20-21.
The September events are the latest for KVIS. In early June, the group team up with the Katonah Chamber of Commerce and Katonah Live to support JuneFest, a mix of several live musical acts and wares tables.
