League of Women Voters of Bedford-Lewisboro-North Salem Hosts Voter Registration Event Sept. 22

The League of Women Voters of Bedford-Lewisboro-North Salem (LWVBLNS) will host voter registration booths in Katonah, Mount Kisco and Cross River on Sept. 22 as part of the National Voter Registration Day.

LWVBLNS members will be joined by members of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to register voters at the following locations from 10 am until noon:

• Katonah Village Library, 26 Bedford Rd, Katonah
• Saw Mill River Club, 77 Kensico Dr, Mount Kisco
• Starbucks, 41 S. Moger Ave, Mount Kisco
• DeCicco’s Market, Orchard Square Shopping Center, Cross River

National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a massive, 50-state effort to register voters before the November elections.

Thousands of organizations and volunteers will be the driving force behind National Voter Registration Day 2015. Partner organizations will coordinate hundreds of NVRD events nationwide and leverage #CelebrateNVRD on all social media platforms to drive attention to voter registration and the upcoming elections.
