Dear Bedford Residents:
I’ve been friends with Luke Vander Linden for many years and I know him to be a compassionate hard worker and leader in all he does.

I got the opportunity to work with Luke when he led the Communications Advisory Committee’s efforts to redesign the town’s website. His goal for the new website was a cleaner, easier-to-use and more functional experience for town residents and a more efficient, easier-to-update system for my staff and me.
Communication is definitely one of Luke’s strong points. He and I often discuss how information gets from the town to its residents. And even more importantly, back to the town.

Whether it’s the weekly email newsletter or a special public hearing, he’s always interested in making sure our citizens are armed with the full information they need about what’s happening in their town and in their town government.
This is refreshing in a world where many civic and government leaders claim to be transparent, but really aren’t.
If you need an example of Luke’s communications expertise, take a look at his campaign website at LukeForBedford.com.
I have seen many board members come and go in my time as Town Clerk and Luke has the background, record, experience and skills to be an excellent board member. I look forward to his continued contributions to Bedford as a member of the Town Board.
Sincerely,
Boo Fumagalli, Bedford Town Clerk
