Letter to the Editor: Don Scott, a Proven Community-First Leader
"Don has shown a willingness and ability to work with his peers on the Town Board, regardless of party affiliation or politics..."

Dear Editor:
We the undersigned have had the distinct pleasure of working with Bedford Town Board Candidate Don Scott over the past decade in a variety of community affairs – as neighbors, community members, and community service volunteers. We are honored to wholeheartedly endorse Don’s candidacy for re-election to the Bedford Town Board.
Don has served the community well in his tenure on the Town Board over the past year, energetically championing positive developments such as the new Co-Sponsorship Program encouraging exciting new community events by mitigating some of the costs of town services. Don has shown a willingness and ability to work with his peers on the Town Board, regardless of party affiliation or politics, to do what’s right for the community. Don strives to achieve results that maximize community benefit, responsibly steward our limited town resources, and foster an open, collaborative, and active town government.

As individuals we have often worked with Don in this capacity and enjoyed his positive, collaborative, and community-oriented leadership style.
As we have often observed, Don not only listens to, but hears the needs of various interests, balances the goals, creates and advocates reasonable compromises, and achieves positive action for the Bedford community.
