Letter to the Editor: MaryAnn Carr, Town Board Candidate for Bedford's Future
"...MaryAnn is well positioned to address all of our needs with wisdom, compassion and verve."

Dear Editor:
I know MaryAnn Carr from the Bedford Hills, Bedford Central School District, and Antioch Church communities. We here in Bedford have the fortunate challenge of managing the needs of a community with broad and changing needs. From the stalwart multi-generational Bedfordites to the newer young families and professionals who join us from the city - we are all one town with friends across many socio-economic circles. It’s what makes us a vital and special town. To this end, MaryAnn is well positioned to address all of our needs with wisdom, compassion and verve. Her professional work as an Information Technology consultant spans the globe. She knows the importance of collaboration and being inclusive when addressing issues and and concerns of the community. She has worked on many complex issues with stakeholders from a multiplicity of backgrounds. This is what makes her uniquely qualified to serve on the town board. She has lived in Bedford Hills for 13 years and has successfully navigated life as a mother, volunteer, commuter, and church leader for all those years. A vote for MaryAnn is a vote for our future as a cohesive and all-embracing town.
