Letter to the Editor: Re-Elect Chris Burdick, Bedford Town Supervisor

To the Editor:

I am writing to wholeheartedly endorse Chris Burdick for a second term as Bedford’s town supervisor. As the owner of two small businesses in Katonah, and a long-time resident of Bedford Corners, I am impressed by Chris’s record of accomplishments, his accessibility and his genuine devotion to our town’s residents and its vitality. He is a proven, fiscally responsible leader who has kept tax increases minimal and encouraged the growth and success of small businesses. He is also committed to the town’s natural resources and has been endorsed as “ the only and best choice to run Bedford” by the Sierra Club of Lower Hudson and has the backing of the NY League of Conservation Voters.

My interactions with Chris have been thoroughly satisfying — I have watched him work quickly to create and execute meaningful solutions to issues that face local proprietors. Two recent examples are creating a better, simple system for parking permits issued to business owners and thoughtful leadership as the town navigated the proposed expansion of CVS in Katonah. Chris is the right choice for Bedford’s prosperity and its businesses.
