Letter to the Editor: In Support of MaryAnn Carr for Bedford Town Board

MaryAnn Carr's "record of success in community service would greatly enhance her value as a member of the Bedford Town Board."

To the Editor:

Bedford Town Board candidate MaryAnn Carr once again has furthered her already-extensive commitment to community service work. For the Community Center of Northern Westchester in Katonah, she has helped obtain major donations and school supplies for those who need assistance. More recently, she has worked through her church, Antioch Baptist, to partner with local farmers from the John Jay Homestead Farmers Market to donate some of their harvest to those who seek free food. MaryAnn Carr also continues to be an active volunteer with the Bedford Central School District Parent Association for student enrichment and charitable causes.

This tireless community service has provided MaryAnn Carr with unique insights into the needs of Bedford citizens and how best to serve us. Her record of success in community service would greatly enhance her value as a member of the Bedford Town Board.
