Letter to the Editor: Vander Linden Seeks Support for Town Board Bid

A special election will be held March 15.

Dear Editor (and citizens of Bedford):

I am honored and grateful to have been nominated by my friends and neighbors for the Special Election for Town Board on March 15th.

There’s an incredible energy in Bedford right now with organizations and initiatives new and old that address everything from the vitality of our hamlets to improving our neighborhoods to sustainability. Particularly in my own hamlet of Bedford Hills, there is a great amount of excitement and opportunity.

As someone who is very active with many of our town’s local community groups — from the Libraries to the Lions to the Parks Department — I have the right kind of experience to collaborate with and facilitate the work of these organizations and citizens as a Bedford Town Board member.

I’m running because I want to continue and expand the work I do, both where I live in Bedford Hills and for our entire town. We have a wonderful town and we need board members with the courage to make big decisions with respect for all of our neighbors and citizens. I want to use my expertise to make Bedford even better!
