Lewisboro Man Accused Of Assault, Menacing In Domestic Incident
Troopers said he fled the scene before they arrived.

LEWISBORO, NY — A Lewisboro man was arrested Jan. 19 after being accused of engaging in a domestic dispute. State police said Neil C. Smith, 40, of Lewisboro, was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief, felonies, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving and two counts of second-degree menacing, misdemeanors.
Troopers responded Jan. 19 to a domestic incident on Grandview Road in the Town of Lewisboro.
An investigation found Smith had arrived at the residence where he wasn't welcome and began a domestic dispute.

During the incident, Smith menaced two victims, used his vehicle to strike one of them causing non-life-threatening injuries, damaged property belonging to one of the victims and then fled the scene before law enforcement arrived, police said.
He was arraigned in the Town of Lewisboro Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail or bond.

Smith is scheduled to appear in the court Jan. 28.
