Librarian Accused of Cooking the Books to Bump Circulation Numbers

There is an interim library director in place while the board sorts things out.

POUND RIDGE, NY - An investigation as to whether a library director inflated circulation numbers in order to justify a budget increase is taking place in Pound Ridge.

Lohud.com said the library’s Board of Trustees has alleged Director Marilyn Tinter had employees check books out and then back into the library.

There are other allegations, including intimidation and insubordination.

Tinter has been suspended with pay.
