Lions 'Share The Warmth' Sock Drive Starts On The Right Foot
Will you toe-the-line and do your part to help the Lions of Bedford Hills reach the goal of collecting 100 pairs of new socks by December?
BEDFORD HILLS, NY — The holidays are darn near here and The Lions Club of Bedford Hills is kicking off their annual "Share the Warmth" drive to collect new socks for those in need.
The group is asking the tight knit community to drop off a pair (or two) of new socks in a donation box in the Bedford Town Clerks Office. The Lions will be collecting new socks through December 3, in a footrace to collect 100 pairs of new socks by the end of the drive. The group will then pair with the Community Center of Northern Westchester to get the footwear to those who are most in need of them.
The Bedford Town Clerk's Office is located in Bedford Town House at 321 Bedford Rd in Bedford Hills. There will also be a special drop box at Bedford Hills Elementary School. This box will only be accessible to students, families and staff at the school.
