Lumagica Holiday Light Experience At Harvest Moon Farm Now Open

This year's event runs through December 30, & then Jan. 6-8, and promises to be longer and more spectacular than ever.

NORTH SALEM, NY — Now that apple-picking and pumpkin patch season is over, Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard will once again transform into an enchanted forest, and this year's Lumagica spectacular holiday trail is even longer with several new and brilliant displays.

The natural rolling landscape of the orchard is a perfect canvas to tell immersive stories in brilliant colors that bring a warm glow to the farm. The bustling property will be filled with over 750,000 lights, whimsical creatures and a few special surprises. The more than half-mile-long trail will take visitors on a journey through six magical spaces: Sparkling Light, Into the Wonderland, Magical Trees, A Great Celebration, Treats and Sweets, and Beyond the Forest.

This year, visions of sugar plums and maybe a bigger-than-life adventure will be dancing in your head. (Lumagica Holiday Light Experience)

Highlights of this year's Lumagica include an illuminated 20-foot-tall reindeer and an enormous soaring parrot. Bring your camera because there will be plenty of photo ops as you wind your way through light tunnels all timed to a musical performance.
