'Making A Meadow' At Katonah Village Library Sows Something Special
It might be getting chiller, but this weekend's workshop is a chance to see how Mother Nature can help us get back to basics.

KATONAH, NY — The grass might always be greener on the other side, but the secret to having an enviable lawn from any perspective might just be looking to the past (with a little help from modern techniques).
The Katonah Village Library announced that it will be hosting a Living with the Seasons workshop on "Making a Meadow," this Saturday, at 1 p.m.
Leslie Dock, of Leslie Dock Farms & Gardens, will take attendees through photos of a three-year lawn-to-meadow conversion project and discuss different strategies for those interested in reducing their lawn square footage.

Farm in North Salem. She says she is thrilled to bring practical, hands-on sustainable living education to the Katonah Village Library. In addition, Dock writes a monthly gardening column for Katonah Connect magazine.
