Meet The Candidates Running For Bedford School Board

The League of Women Voters will moderate the upcoming forum, but the voters get to ask all the questions.

BEDFORD, NY — This month, the Bedford Central School District will host a special School Board Election Candidate Forum.

The event on April 25, will be held at Fox Lane Middle School's Suzanne Grant Theater at 7 p.m.

The event is intended to give voters insights into the candidates who are running for one of the two open Board of Education Trustee seats. Liz Goldman-Sider, Rica Mendes, Betsy Sharma and Kristine Stoker are expected to attend.

Questions for the candidates can be emailed to the League of Women Voters at LWVNEW@gmail.com. Questions must be received by April 23.

The forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters. A committee of volunteers will review questions, combine those that are similar, and compile a list of questions to give to the moderator, according to organizers.
