Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert Issued Thursday for Hudson Valley Man

The man has early onset Alzheimer's disease and diabetes.

YULAN, NY — An alert has been issued Thursday for a missing vulnerable adult.

Authorities said Kenneth Byrne, 78, has early onset Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes. He may be in need of medical attention.

Byrne was last seen on Park Lane in Yulan, Sullivan County, at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28.

He was driving a 2011 gray Ford Escape with New York registration 612866.

Information indicated that he was in the Greenport area of Brooklyn at 3 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29. He may be traveling to Farmingdale.

Byrne is a white male, who is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.

He has gray hair and brown eyes.
