New Art Labs at EverWonder

One of our favorite summer memories is catching fireflies at EverWonder. We are celebrating everyone's favorite bug, the firefly, with a suncatcher activity. Children will use pre-cut out paper shapes and tissue paper to make beautiful summer firefly suncatchers.
Do you love to gaze at the stars at night? We do at EverWonder! To celebrate the night's sky, we are learning about constellations in our new June Art Lab. Children will use flashlights to shine a light on different constellations. During this activity, children will learn about patterns, stars, light and constellations. Also, children can trace out constellations through a lacing dot to dot activity. During this activity, children will work on their fine motor skills and learn about constellations.

EverWonder Children’s Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Museums hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 am -5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Starting on Monday, June 19th, the museum will be open on Mondays from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. The museum is located at 31 Pecks Lane Newtown, CT 06470.
