New Fire Department Command Vehicle Put into Service in Bedford Hills

The new vehicle is a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe.

BEDFORD, NY — The Bedford Hills Fire Department recently unveiled its new command vehicle and put it into service.

The 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe, which is the new Car 2033, has a rear custom command console that was repurposed from the previous Car 2033, according to information on the fire department’s website.

The console provides storage for the command board and other related firefighting equipment.
