New Traffic Pattern in Bedford on Guard Hill Road
After passing through the intersection drivers can still turn left or right.
BEDFORD, NY — There’s a new traffic pattern in town.
Bedford Police sent out an alert notifying motorists that when traveling east on Guard Hill Road approaching Old Post Road, or Route 22, one must stay to the right of the island at that intersection.
There are new signs and markings to indicate the change.

Police said once at the intersection drivers can still either make a left or a right turn onto Route 22.
