Nightclub@Lewisboro Library Concerts Feature Doug Munro & Arlen Roth

Master Guitarists Doug Munro and Arlen Roth are the first two performers in the 2017 Nightclub@Lewisboro Library Concert Series

The Nightclub@Lewisboro Library kicks off the 2017 season with February & March concerts featuring renowned guitarists Doug Munro and Arlen Roth.

On Friday, February 10 at 8 pm, Grammy nominee and master guitarist Doug Munro takes the stage with a rousing concert featuring the music of jazz giants Oscar Peterson and Joe Pass. With the great Pete Malinverni on piano, legendary drummer Richie Morales and Doug's long time bassist Michael Goetz, this promises to be a night of swinging music from one of our favorite guitarists in tribute to two of his greatest influences.

On Friday, March 31 at 8 pm, the Library is pleased to host a performance by ANOTHER Grammy nominee - the great Arlen Roth. One of the top 100 guitarists of the century, music lovers consider Arlen Roth "the guitarist's guitarist," a brilliant musician with the rare ability to seamlessly cross over musical genres and playing styles. He is an acclaimed solo artist (15 solo albums), bandleader, studio musician, songwriter and the pioneer of musical instruction videos Hot Licks. Arlen will be accompanied by guitarist Chris Foley. A special evening, not to be missed!
