North Salem Residents Talking About New Clues in Unsolved Socialite Murder

NORTH SALEM, NY — While investigators remain tight-lipped about efforts to solve the murder of millionaire socialite Lois Colley, some residents are saying police have described the suspect as a disgruntled employee of Colley and her husband.
David Robinson of the Journal News reported that one resident said he was told by a police officer that the suspect is out of the country.
Colley, 83, whose body was discovered in her home Nov. 9, 2015, died of blunt force trauma.

The only thing missing was a fire extinguisher, police said.
Colley was the wife of multi-millionaire McDonald’s franchise owner Eugene Colley. They lived on a large estate called Windswept Farm.
