NY, CT Conduct Buckle Up Detail
The towns of Lewisboro in New York and Ridgefield in Connecticut participated, along with the New York State Police.
The New York State Police, the Town of Lewisboro Police Department and the Ridgefield (CT) Police Department conducted a detail Tuesday, May 23 that netted 47 uniform traffic tickets.
The Border to Border Buckle Up Detail was in the area of State Route 35 in the towns of Lewisboro and Ridgefield.
Tickets that were issued included 12 for not wearing a seat belt, nine for operating a motor vehicle using a cell phone (not hands free) and 26 other vehicle and traffic law violations.

There were two unlawful possession of marijuana arrests, a violation, made during the detail also.
