One More Snow, Then Warmer: Northern Westchester's Work Week
It's being called a minor event, but then we are looking at warmer temps. Here's the forecast for the week.

NORTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — Are you tired of the cold yet? Winter is going to begin slipping away this week as spring warmth makes its debut. But first the Hudson Valley has the chance for a little more snow Monday night into Tuesday.
AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski said the greatest chance for snow to will be at night and early in the morning.
“Only if the storm were to restrengthen along the coast would more substantial snow target the northeast, but odds are against this scenario,” she said.

Hudson Valley Weather said that temps will be near or just below freezing when the precipitation is likely to come down in the “minor event.”
They said the timing is as follows:

- 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.: Scattered light snow showers develop
- 7 a.m. to noon: Scattered light snow showers taper off
Then — by late in the week — we could be seeing temperatures in the upper 60s.
Here is the forecast for the week from the National Weather Service for northern Westchester:
- Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 45. West wind 3 to 5 mph.
- Monday Night: Snow likely, mainly after 5am. Cloudy, with a low around 34. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
- Tuesday: Snow likely before 10am, then rain and snow likely between 10am and 11am, then a chance of rain after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
- Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. West wind around 5 mph becoming north after midnight.
- Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. North wind 6 to 8 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
- Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36.
- Thursday: A 30 percent chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 59.
- Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44.
- Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68.
- Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47.
