Oratorio Society Will Bid Farewell To Conductor In Spring Concert
The concert will honor Benjamin Niemczyk's farewell performance as artistic director after a 20-year tenure with the group.

SOUTH SALEM, NY — The Westchester Oratorio Society's spring concert promises to be a bittersweet affair for both the musicians and concertgoers.
On Saturday, May 4, the Westchester Oratorio Society will present "Glorious Spring: A Farewell To Conductor Benjamin Niemczyk" at the South Salem Presbyterian Church. The concert will feature Brahms "Liebeslieder Waltzes," Op. 52, Brahms "Schicksalslied," Op. 54 and Mozart "Mass in C Minor."
The concert will mark Niemczyk’s farewell performance as Artistic Director after a 20-year affiliation with the organization. For this special performance, the chorus will be accompanied by soprano Audrey Fernandez-Fraser, alto Christine Browne-Munz, Michael Anderson, tenor and Robert Frazier, bass, along with the 25-member WOS Festival Orchestra.

This performance is being made possible with a grant from the Westchester Community Foundation.
"Glorious Spring" is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The South Salem Presbyterian Church is located at 111 Spring St., in South Salem. Tickets are $25 general ($30 at the door), $40 preferred ($50 at the door) and $15 for students. Concertgoers are invited to attend a post-concert reception.
