On Friday, August 26, 2016, The Bedford Playhouse will host an extraordinary star studded evening with performances by local performers including Glenn Close, Paul Shaffer, Chevy Chase,Robert Klein, Chazz Palminteri, and Jeffrey Tambor. Terre Blair, the wife of the late Marvin Hamlisch, will introduce a performance of his music by singer Marissa McGowan. Arrangements were made thanks to the efforts of Playhouse advisory council member Cathy Shaffer. Playhouse President John Farr will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

“I have been going to the Bedford Playhouse since before I can remember,” Ms. Close said. “I have vivid memories of cartoons and newsreels. I can't think of anything more wonderful for our entire community and beyond than a neighborhood Playhouse where we can gather and enjoy the kinds of films that we all long to see--films that really speak to us, emotionally and intellectually.”
