Police Said 16YO Makes Up Robbery In Pound Ridge
The victim said they were assaulted by a man who then stole property from them.
POUND RIDGE, NY — A reported robbery is being investigated by the state police and the Pound Ridge Police Department. Police responded to the report around 7 a.m. April 12 in Pound Ridge.
The victim said they were assaulted by a man who then stole property from them.
The investigation found that the 16-year-old victim made up the series of events and falsely reported the robbery.

The 16-year-old was issued a Family Court appearance ticket returnable to the Westchester County Youth Part April 18 for third-degree falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor.
