The Pound Ridge Library will be closed for most of July due to remediation work, which includes removing ceiling tiles, the library announced. The library will reopen on July 30 at 10 a.m.
In a community message, Library Director Marilyn Tinter explained the closure and gave a reminder to the public for what to expect. She noted that due dates on items have been extended to July 30, that library items can be returned by bringing them to other libraries and that holds on items can be picked up at other libraries.
The library is located at 271 Westchester Ave. in Pound Ridge.
