POUND RIDGE, NY — A bartender who hails from Pound Ridge will appear for the ninth time Friday as a contestant on “Jeopardy!” Austin Rogers, who now lives in New York, has so far amassed $306,900 on the game show, according to its website.

Rogers will be appearing on Friday’s show against challengers Rebekah Smith of Washington, DC and Diana McInnis of Playa Vista, CA. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)

According to the Journal News, Rogers went to Fox Lane High School, dropped out of New York University because it was too expensive and is a Yankee’s fan.

Locally, “Jeopardy!” airs on WABC-TV Channel 7 at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
