Camerata d’Amici to Present “Because You Sang, I Sing” May 17 Choral group Camerata d’Amici is delighted to present its spring concert “Because You Sang, I Sing” on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 4 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, <a href="https://cameratadamici.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=b1936e9306eb66aa00fd64166&amp;id=b35661fb25&amp;e=40ad5f72af" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">6 Ivy Hill Road, Ridgefield, CT 06877</a>. 

Conducted by Kristin Sponheim, the concert will feature music that pays tribute to those that came before us, in honor of America’s 250th celebration.Selections will include “Because You Sang,” by Arianne Abele, “Shenandoah,” arr. James Erb, and “Hold On,” arr. Uzee Brown.
Camerata d’Amici is an auditioned choir made up of singers from Fairfield and Westchester counties. “Because You Sang, I Sing” will feature performances by the full group and a chamber ensemble, as well as men’s and women’s pieces. Featured vocalists will include Thomas Carr (Danbury), James Lee (Wilton), Jeanine Pardey (Ridgefield), and Doug Planker (Monroe).
The choir will be accompanied by Liang-Fang Chang (piano), and Elliot Wallace (percussion).
Tickets at the door are $30 for adults and $10 for youth 18 and under. Advance tickets, with a reduced ticket price of $25 for adults, may be purchased at <a href="https://cameratadamici.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=b1936e9306eb66aa00fd64166&amp;id=4cd93321e4&amp;e=40ad5f72af" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">cameratadamici.org</a>.
