Rock For Bach At Brother Vic’s To Benefit Oratorio Society

Westchester Oratorio Society will hold a benefit night on Sunday, March 11.

BEDFORD-KATONAH, NY - From Westchester Oratorio: Help support Westchester Oratorio Society’s 20th Anniversary Season at “Rock for Bach” featuring Joey Spallina & Friends at the Heights Restaurant at Brother Vic’s music lounge in South Salem (Vista), NY, Sunday March 11, 2018, 5 to 9 pm.

Founded in South Salem, the Society is dedicated to performing choral masterworks with professional soloists and orchestras for audiences in northern Westchester and surrounding areas, and has also performed in such venues as Carnegie Hall, the Cathedral of St. John the Devine and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

For this event, WOS member Joe Spallina, a bass singer with the chorus who was a regular at rock 'n roll venues throughout Westchester in his youth, teams with his brother, who once toured with Chubby Checkers, and his son Joey, a TV commercial composer and musician and his friends, a combination that has drawn large crowds to major music venues in our area.

Funds raised from the evening will help support the Society’s Karen Spallina Memorial Concert this May in Bedford featuring works written and performed by Anthony Newman, Bach Cantatas and the Mozart Requiem.

An “all-access pass” to the event is $65 per person ($120 couple) and includes a buffet dinner. Entrance at 7pm for the main act only is available for a Cover Charge of $20 (tax deductible).
