Route 172 Reopened After Downed Trees, Wires

The road was shut down for several hours.

BEDFORD, NY — A Bedford road that was closed for around 17 hours was finally reopened Monday morning.

Route 172 had both directions closed around 1:42 p.m. Sunday as a result of downed electrical wires and trees, according to lohud.com.
