Harvey vs. Don Bosco
On February 1st the varsity hockey team hosted Don Bosco Prep (NJ). Harvey lost 9-2 and fell to a 9-7-1 record, while Don Bosco improved to 17-1. Harvey's Ricky Schulman kept the game within reach at 3-1 near the end of the first period when he on a wraparound on a cycle play from Brett Marks.

Don Bosco responded with four unanswered goals in the second period and added two more in the third before Harvey's Russell Pober buried one on a breakaway just under the 10 minute mark. Don Bosco's Cody Calcagno, Cole Maier, and Brendan Calello each scored a pair of goals for the Ironmen.
Harvey's freshman goalie Robbie Massimi stopped 31 of 40 shots on the afternoon.
Harvey vs. King
In an FAA ice hockey game on Friday, February 3rd at the Harvey School’s Evarts Rink, the King Vikings of Stamford, CT edged out the Harvey Cavaliers 2-1 as Harvey out shot King 39-32. Senior Mike Morra opened up the scoring with the lone goal of the first period at the 7:12 mark. King answered with one goal in the second period and one at the start of the third, as they held onto a 2-1 lead despite giving up power play situations for Harvey.
Senior Day
Harvey plays host to Fieldston Prep at 4 p.m.on Friday in another FAA league match. Friday will also be "Senior Day" in honor of the twelve seniors that will be graduating this year.
GJV BBall
Harvey vs. Wooster
On 2/4, the Harvey girls’ JV basketball team played great pressure defense, but were unable to defeat host Wooster on their home court, losing 29-16. The leading scorer for the Lady Cavs was Vanessa Mackiewicz (8 points), followed by Sammi Aloi (4), Kendall Finiasz (2), and Emily Pollack (2).
