Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued Monday for Hudson Valley

Conditions exist that are favorable for thunderstorms.

A thunderstorm watch has been issued for the Hudson Valley Monday.

The National Weather Service said the watch went into effect at 12:45 p.m. and will be in effect until 8 p.m.

The watch is in effect for Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties.
