Shaken Not Stirred: Bond in Bedford Event Will Benefit Playhouse

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take in the latest 007 installment with a perfect cocktail & a posh party for a cause.

BEDFORD, NY — Nothing can stop 007, except perhaps COVID-19, which pushed back the release date of "No Time To Die" by nearly a year.

On Saturday, October 23, a special fundraiser screening of "No Time to Die" will benefit the Bedford Playhouse. Before the film, moviegoers will be greeted at a red carpet cocktail reception with a Playhouse signature drink, the French 75.

After the film, guests will celebrate James Bond saving the world (we assume) at a 007 after party with dancing in the Worby Theater, "Golden Eye" for Nintendo 64 on the big screen or a perfectly crafted cocktail at Bambi's Bar.

Tickets to this screening include the exclusive red carpet cocktail reception before the screening and admission to the 007 after party, where there will be a cash bar. The red carpet events kick off at 8 p.m. at the Playhouse.

Tickets for the night of spycraft and revelry are $50 per person.

Organizers say a “007 Chic” dress code is suggested for the "ultra-luxe" fundraiser to benefit the Playhouse. All attendees must provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID PCR test within 72 hours of the film.
