Westchester Woman Runs Over Cop's Foot During Pursuit: PD
The woman allegedly engaged Connecticut officers in a pursuit, rammed cruisers and ran over an officer's foot.

A South Salem woman was arrested after she allegedly engaged New Canaan, CT police officers in a pursuit and injured one officer with her vehicle.
An officer on patrol observed a vehicle partially in the roadway of Oenoke Ridge Road in New Canaan with its hazard lights on shortly before 1 a.m. March 11. The officer spoke with the operator, identified as Donna Berisha, 52.

She drove away from the officer after he obtained her driver's license, police said.
Police pursued Berisha and she allegedly crashed into two police vehicles, causing minor to moderate damage.

Officers made several attempts to get her vehicle to stop and attempted to remove her from the vehicle. An officer's foot was run over and his shoulder injured during one attempt.
The officer was taken to Norwalk Hospital and has been released.
Berisha allegedly drove straight at another officer, which caused him to jump behind his police vehicle for protection.
Berisha then drove over the state line into New York where New York State Police assisted in ending the pursuit in South Salem.
She was charged with three counts of assault on a police officer, conspiracy to attempt assault on a police officer, engaging police in a pursuit, failure to obey an officer's signal, reckless driving and failure to drive right. She was held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
