Bedford Corners – December 1, 2015 –Temple Shaaray Tefila in Bedford Corners is pleased to screen Deliman: The Movie on Christmas Day followed by a delish deli lunch for a very special Meet You at the Movies Café.

You are what you eat. So join us for some raucous laughter, an existential discussion about what makes pastrami pastrami, a bissele of shpilkus, and a reminder to renew your fitness club membership.

Among the greatest gifts Jewish immigrants brought to the New World is the old-time deli, and the film Deli Man proves it by touring some of the best establishments from Broadway to Hollywood to Montreal. More than a film, much better than a eulogy, Deli Man is the best kind of mirror there is. It makes you ask, “What am I, chopped liver?” And for the first time in a long time, the answer is an ebullient yes!
