CROSS RIVER, NY — Police are asking for the public's help locating an 18-year-old missing person.

Noam M. Cohen, of Cross River, was reported missing by his family, according to a missing person advisory issued by the New York State Police on Thursday.

Troopers are circulating a recent photograph of Cohen. He is believed to be wearing jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and a JanSport backpack.

Cohen is known to enjoy the railway system, according to state police.
