Stretch Of Route 22 Expected To Be Closed For More Than A Month, According to NYSDOT
The road closure in Northern Westchester County is expected to last until mid-May. A detour will be in place.
BEDFORD, NY — A major road closure is planned for State Route 22 in Northern Westchester County.
The New York State Department of Transportation said State Route 22 will be closed to traffic between Bedford Center Road and Maple Avenue in the Town of Bedford, beginning Monday, April 6, at 9:30 a.m., through mid-May, for a culvert replacement project, weather permitting.
A detour will be posted according to the NYSDOT.

The agency is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
