Students! Sign Up for the Greenlight Award Competition by Monday
Student environmental competition sign up deadline is Monday 11/14. High School students from JJHS, FLHS, Harvey or RCS may compete.
Bedford 2020's Greenlight Award Sign Up Deadline is Monday 11/14
The Greenlight Award competition is about to commence!
What is it?
Students come up with green ideas to improve our community.
Bedford 2020 grants the teams with the best ideas up to $1,000 to implement them.
Finalists go before the "Shark Tank" in May with their results.
The team with the best project receives a $500 cash prize and the Greenlight Award.
Bedford 2020 supports the best projects to continue beyond the contest.
How do I sign up?
Students fill out an Intent to Participate form online by Monday, November 14.
What's next?
Participants will soon be invited to an Incubator Workshop where they will meet with community experts who offer guidance and answer questions about student big green ideas. Students submit a written proposal by December 15.
Who may participate?
High school students from Fox Lane, John Jay, Harvey and Rippowam Cisqua are invited to participate this year. Students may participate individually or as a team.
