Suspect Rang Up $3,700 on Victim's Credit Card at Best Buy: State Police
Authorities are seeking help in identifying the man.
New York State Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an alleged identity thief who made $3,700 in fraudulent credit card purchases at Best Buy stores located in Poughkeepsie and Middletown.
The illegal purchases were made in late December of 2015, and state police have released the above pictures from surveillance video of the suspect.
“The State Police are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the depicted subject wanted for questioning in regards to this investigation,” said authorities in a statement.
