Thunderstorms, Hail Possible Tuesday for Hudson Valley

The forecast said it was going to rain Tuesday it did arrive over the Hudson Valley.

This afternoon, however, there is the possibility of thunderstorms around the region.

Some of the storms could produce small hail, according to the National Weather Service.

Total rainfall will be in the 0.25-inch to 0.5-inch range.

Highs for Tuesday will be in the mid-60s, with slightly cooler temperatures the further north you are in the Hudson Valley.

Tonight, there will likely be rain before 7 p.m. or 8 p.m., becoming partly cloudy afterward. Additional rain accumulations of about a tenth of an inch is predicted.

The low tonight will be around 40.

Wednesday is shaping up to be a sunny day with high temperatures around 60.
