WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Starting Sunday evening, the fast lane on a major Hudson Valley highway won't be quite as fast as drivers might hope.

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) said two lanes are expected to close along I-684 northbound between the Hutchinson River Parkway in Harrison and Exit 4 (State Route 172) in Bedford for road paving. The closures will start Sunday, May 8 and continue through Thursday, June 23.

The work will take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily, weather permitting.
