Vatican Releases Pope's Itinerary For New York Visit
Pontiff's September trip to the United States will begin in Washington, D.C. and end in Philadelphia.

The Vatican has released the itinerary for the Pope’s historic visit to New York in September.
Pope Francis will address the United Nations General Assembly, hold mass at Madison Square Garden and visit the World Trade Center.

Here is his itinerary for the New York portion of his trip the United States, which begins in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 22, according to the Vatican:
Thursday, Sept. 24

- 5 p.m. Arrive at John F. Kennedy International Airport
- 6:45 p.m. Evening prayer at St. Patrick’s Cathedral
Friday, Sept. 25
- 8 a.m. Address to United Nations General Assembly
- 11:30 a.m. Multi-religious service at 9/11 Memorial and Museum, World Trade Center
- 4 p.m. Visit to Our Lady Queen of Angels School in East Harlem
- 6 p.m. Mass at Madison Square Garden
Saturday, Sept 26
- 6 a.m. Depart to Philadelphia from John F. Kennedy International Airport
