This is the perfect project for volunteers who are passionate about sustainable farming, looking to get their hands dirty, or just want to help out on a beautiful piece of land. Volunteers must be 18+, but those as young as 10 can register as part of an adult's team.

Adaptive Tennis Tournament Helpers
Help Fun For Cure with its adaptive tennis tournament for children with special needs. Volunteers will be working one-on-one with young participants to make sure they're staying focused and having fun, cheer on the children and their families as they play, helping to hand out medals, and assisting with sign-in if needed. The children have already played adaptive tennis for eight weeks, so they are very familiar with the sport's positions and rules. This is the perfect opportunity for students who need service hours and enthusiastic, positive volunteers who love working with children!
Date: 4/2 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Organization: Fun For Cure
Location: Eastchester
Volunteers will work alongside gardeners at Lasdon Park to keep the gardens looking beautiful. This is a great opportunity to learn about gardening and preserving green spaces while having fun with family, friends, and coworkers.
Date: 4/5 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays
Organization: Friends of Lasdon Park and Arborteum
