Westchester Community Foundation highlights funding in action
Foundation tours Mt. Kisco, Bedford, and Katonah nonprofits with donors and board members

(Hartsdale, NY—December 20, 2016) Westchester Community Foundation board members and donors recently attended a day-long bus tour that explored the rich variety of community work that the Foundation supports in the northern part of the county.
The day’s itinerary included stops at Copland House at Merestead, Mt. Kisco, Neighbors Link, Mt. Kisco, Mount Kisco Child Care Center/My Second Home, and Community Center of Northern Westchester, Katonah, and a discussion of environmental work with the executive director of the Westchester Land Trust. The day wrapped up with a cocktail party holiday reception at the Katonah Village Library.
The catering was provided by chefs-in-training from the White Plains Education and Training Center.
