Westchester Hiring Lifeguards For County Pools
Rebates are offered to new guards for their training.

Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino Monday joined with Parks Commissioner Kathy O’Connor and members of the Westchester County lifeguard team at Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains to tell job-seekers of all ages should consider becoming a lifeguard at Westchester County’s pools and beaches this summer.
“We offer rebates to new guards for their training, our work sites are easily accessible and there are opportunities for advancement,” Astorino said, in a prepared statement.
“Then there are the less tangible benefits, like knowing that you’re part of a team of caring individuals who take great satisfaction and pride in keeping Westchester County’s pools and beaches safe and fun for everyone,” he said.
