Woman, 2 Dogs Escape Fire In Goldens Bridge Home
Fire companies had to battle the blaze in spite of high winds.
LEWISBORO, NY — A fire destroyed a woman's home Sunday night in Goldens Bridge, but she and her two dogs got out safely. Firefighters had to battle the blaze on Manor Drive in spite of high winds.
The fire broke out around 8:20 p.m. and was brought under control in a little less than three hours, the Journal News said.
What was left of the home had to be demolished, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
