Work Week Weather: The Return of Summer?
For this week's forecast, we'll let you know why you won't need that sweater, and what to expect on Election Day.

The clocks aren’t the only thing that have fallen back this weekend.
Apparently, Mother Nature has also fallen back to summer despite the calendar revealing that we’re getting closer to winter.

The forecast this week for Westchester County can be summed up in one sentence. We’ll experience sunny skies, temperatures approaching, if not exceeding 70 degrees, for much of the week, and lows only falling back to around 50 degrees at night.
“Skies should become mostly sunny on Monday, with a light wind, and temperatures climbing into the low 60s,” writes Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. “Tuesday and Wednesday should see wall to wall sunshine and blue skies… and temperatures into the upper 60s for highs. This is all thanks to a monster ridge of high pressure in the eastern US, and it will give us temperatures that are a solid 10 to 15 degrees above average.

“November will get off to a warm start… we’ll have to see how long it lasts.”
An amazing work week forecast, and not too surprising is that no rain is again forecast over the next seven days.
Here is the detailed 7-day forecast via the National Weather Service:
Monday: Mostly sunny, with highs in the low to mid 60s
Tuesday/Election Day: Sunny, with highs in the low 70s
Wednesday: Sunny, with highs in the upper 60s
Thursday: Partly sunny, with highs in the upper 60s
Friday: Partly sunny, with highs in the upper 60s
The upcoming weekend looks good, partly sunny skies with temps in the lows 60s Saturday and more seasonal on Sunday with temps in the low 50s.
